I would suggest that if you require oxygen that you check directly with they airline that you will be traveling with. They would be able to furnish the most beneficial answer for you.

All personal oxygen tanks must be empty proir to loading on an aircraft. All airlines provide oxygen for free.

it really depends on the airline. some do not permit oxygen tanks on their planes in the first place, but i think some provide it like virgin airlines.
