im just bored right now and i want to bring my dog there to buy a bone and i've seen dogs there before but im not sure if that was just for obedience classes or something....?

Yes all pets not just dogs are aloud into pet smart stores. I used to work there but due to my pregnancy I left. Great store and great people. Just make sure you pet has the proper collar and leash to walk him on.

OH YES! Just went there last weekend. It was her first trip (well actually the second, but she was a wee baby the first time). She walked throught the automatic doors and just layed down -- she had never seen anything like that. The people there just bust out laughing and then encouraged her to come on in. She had a wonderful time sniffing all the things -- even watched the fish tanks!

Of course you can, you just have to keep them on a leash. I take my dog all the time so she can pick out some treats and new toys. Just make sure you aware of other people and dogs around you just in case another dog isn't so friendly and some people, especially children, may be afraid of dogs. Have a good time and your dog will be very appreciative of you for taking them!

Yes I bring my dogs all the time. Petsmart, Petco agway and many feed stores permit you to bring in you dogs. All dogs must be collared and on a leash.

Leashed pets are welcome in both Petco and PetSmart stores. Most of the smaller pet shops in my area are fine with it as well. Just be courteous. Don't let your dog eat from the bulk bins. Clean up if your pet makes a mess, etc.

Yes you can. They ask you to have a leash on them at all times. I recently took my new Doberman puppy in to fit him for a collar and the sales people were so helpful. My favorite place to go, plus its a great way to show off your furry baby

Yep you sure can:) I do it all the time! They just have to have a leash or be small enough for you to hold them.
