What info will I need to take with me. Ive never got a loan I have my first credit card but I need a loan for 1,500. My car value is 8,000. Im self employed seasonal fisherman so this will be my first year filing taxes (havent yet) I have close to no credit. If I'm using my title would my tax statement and credit really be so important? Thankls

I dont want a loan to buy a car. I would like to use my title (secured) to get some cash. thanks again

With no credit, the bank has nouthing to base a decision off of and wants something they can go after if you decide later not to pay.
I did a loan a few years ago for $25,000 and they wanted me to put up the title for my car as colleraral also.
The more established credit you have, the more you can loan without colleraral.
