grow two plants (i'll call them A and B) until they start to flower. When the flowers start opening up you need to cut the stamens off of plant A BEFORE they dehis (before any pollen is shed). On plant B you'll want to wait until the anthers dehis, then pinch off a flower from plant B and sprinkle the anthers onto the stigma of plant A. Wait for a fruit to develop, remove seeds, plant them - if they germinate then the cross was successful - the new plants will be the F1 hybrids. Good luck!

By making the pollen grains of one plant to fall on the stigma of another plant, this is called cross pollination.
