1st of all we do not have a soul as if soul is something other than ourself. As if it is something apart from ourself. We are soul. You are the soul.

We don't say, "I have a soul". Instead we should say, "I am soul" or 'I am soul living in this body" . We say we have a soul because we identify ourself with the body.

When we die what happens is that, we leave our body and go to a different plane of existence or dimension also known as the astral plane or astral world.

What happens there is simple. You will be put before an angel which is responsible to determine where you should go. Either upward to a higher dimension such as soul plane (where all good souls spend their time enjoying life or serving God) or be sent back to earth, other planets or to remain in the astral plane.

In the astral world there are many places just like there are many places in this world. Depending to your karmic conditions (all the actions you have done during your lifetime), you place will be decided.

If you have followed a spiritual master during your lifetime here on earth, usually the master will intervene and decide where you should go. If you don't this angel will decide.

Now how do we prove this to ourself? In oder to prove this to yourself, what you can do is to meet a spiritual master who can teach you astral traveling or soul traveling, and can take you out of your body to this world and show you what is happening there and you can come back to your body until you are ready to permanently leave it.

All the people who are able to leave their body consciously and visit these places have so many times written and spoken about it. People do not believe these places exist because they have not seen it.

Hey we can't blame them. It's ok. After all, the prove for pudding is in eating it right?

We do not have to wait until we die to learn the truth about this places. We can learn it here and now while still alive in this body. We just need to learn to leave our body and visit this places and prove to ourself.

It is that simple but finding the spiritual master or soul traveler who can teach you and take you safely to this place and come back is the hardest part. There are only a few who can truly do this. To meet this master soul travelers are indeed a blessing.

Well, that's the real question, isn't it? And the answer really does depend on you. Christians are certain that they will be absent from the body, but present with the Lord. I believe Jews subscribe to soul-sleep. Hindus and Buddhists get recycled into new bodies. And apparently, atheists go into a very deep, self-induced sleep. Personally, I think we get recycled until we make an INFORMED CHOICE as to whether we want to trust Jesus or not.
