lip sync to a song. Dance and act funny while doing so. Hey it'll get some laughs. And would be fun.

Well, I am thinking you have to find and know for certain what talent you would be comfortable with. Dancing is easier in the sense that you can make a short routine and learn it by heart beforehand. My kids have always sung, but you need to practice the song and know it really well. A small skit can be really nice but usually involves a couple of people, you would need to find a partner and a skit you both could do. There is always lip-sync too where you can act like a famous singer and dress up like them and pretend you are singing the song when the whole time the real singer's song is being played to the audience. Lots of choices, bottom line you have to decide what you want to do. Prayers for an easy choice =)

8 days doesn't give you alot of time.
That being the case I think dancing would be the best way to go.
If you sing and have not practiced you may forget the words and everyone will know.
For magic you have to practice enough to make sure the trick will work and everyone will know if it doesn't.
The safest would be dancing, especially if you are doing it by yourself. Practive for sure, but if you forget a step you can through an extra step in and no one will know!!!
Best of luck

If you have time, dress up in some try hard out fit, way over the top, big pink lips and cheeks etc etc
go out and start doing like like a lame dance to a real good song, but, at like a certain point, make that vvvvvrrup noice and like fall over, quite often, then like some how make ur pants split to revivl some horrible underwear
or you could do a mime, white face black berret/beeni thing black and white stripy shirt blanck pants, etc etc
do the stuck in a box walking the fake dog pulling you along etc etc, you could do something funi like pretending to be shaving your legs or showering etc

Learn to ask your question without being so coarse, number one. If you are this up in the air, why are you even in the show, dear? Rhetorical. If you have no apparent talent for singing, dancing, acting, etc., then I suggest you get out now!

I'm not sure why you're in a talent show if you don't have a particular talent but maybe you can try juggling, it's not too difficult. The forth website listed shows about contact juggling which is also fun to watch.
See the following websites for "how to" information.

well, to start, let me give you an advice:
think of what do you do best and how can you use it for the talent show.
for example: if you're good playing football, do some tricks with the ball on the stage, and that's it!

Miss Congeniality did that glass solo (different sounds with water levels) .
Air band, lip singing, juggling, stand up comedy, reading a poem or story you wrote.

Last time I had to do something like that I did Rowan Atkinson's "Welcome To Hell". Take your time to get your timings right and address different sections of the group and it goes down a treat. It's very important though to do it deadpan.
