Start with a florist that has some new ideas and not one that is stuck in old fashion traditions and depend on her or him for your wedding colors. that is where you will win where your wedding goes.Hot pinks, green apple, bright yellows would be beautiful. depending on your flowers you could be the best wedding of the season. tie them together with ribbons and beads awesome. Crystal, silver how fun. Honestly find a florist that is fun and funky and you will have the best wedding ever!

I got married in March and used Burgundy as a main color. It was very pretty for an evening wedding, and I was able to add in lots of spring flowers that matched perfectly. Pastels are nice if you are doing a day wedding. At night the colors would be muted.

March's birthstone is the aquamarine so pale blue would be pretty. Also, St. Patrick's Day is in March so you could use water colors like pale blue and green. That would be lovely.
You could use light blue flowers with green leaves like hydrangeas, bridesmaid's dresses in those colors, and tablecloths in blues with green napkins at the reception. Calla lilies which are white and green would make a beautiful bridal bouquet.

March is still kind of cold so my choice would be light blue, and royal blue. St. Patricks Day is in March so maybe some green? Do something with luck and shamrocks??? That sounds perfect!
April is more of when you see the pastels. (Easter time)
Have a beautiful March wedding!

I think that would be really pretty! You could do light pink dresses and then have the decorations in those colors, or even a nice sage green dress would look really pretty with those colors. at the reception, you could have table clothes made in each of those different colors and alternate them, do your napkins and accessories to match and I think you would be cool!
My March 24 wedding is hot pink, black and white....my dresses are black with little white polka dots on them and all my flowers are hot pink, my centerpeices are hot pink gerbera topiary balls in polka dot containers, my cake is gonna be white with black dots on it...you just have to find ways to tie it all together, which I'm sure you can do! good luck!

There are no "great colors" for a certain month...only great color combos :) Go to a craft store and pick up a color wheel...it sounds l;ike a horrible art project, but it will help a lot. Carry it around with you and match it up to colors on things that you like when you're out. It will make it much easier to find something that goes together.

Don't let the month control your color decision. If I did that I'd be wearing a green dress. I'm getting married on 3/17/07. :)
Anyway, just go with what you like. We are doing gold & ivory with splashes of dark pink here & there for a little bit of a brightness.

I personally like green for March....it's at the end of winter when things are still grey and not quite showing the early blossoms of spring and green is so rich with shades and color....I was married in March and used greens and blues....not pastels. good luck and no I wasn't celebrating St. Pats!
