Most likely not.

I suppose it depends on the situation, doesn't it.

I don't think there is such a thing as a 'one true love' and no one else.

I am sure most partners in long term relationships end up loving each other, and not all long term relationships last forever, so it is perfectly reasonable to assume that you can love several people over the course of your life.

How old is this guy and what is his history?

Guys fall in love really pretty easily. So he's most likely telling you the truth.

He could be... but love is mostly shown by the way a guy acts. Words don't mean that much, at least not in comparison.

Is he caring? Have you met his parents and his friends? Does he cook for you? Things like that are what you should look for. Take care!

It is possible he is telling the "truth", but the question should be "does he really know what love is" and does he 'really" love you...or does he just think that he does.

It may be possibe to love more than one person, although that can be a very sticky situation, and it also depends on how far back in the past we're talking about. You should probably keep your guards up for a little while. (If its you we're talking about )

You can have lots of past loves--Are you telling me you have not been in love and then had it go bad?? Everyone (nearly) has had past loves--

I think he's in love with the idea of being in love. He doesn't know what real love is. So, I don't think he's trying to deceive you necessarily, but I don't think he's in love with you either. Only for the moment.

no because if he loved you he wouldn't tell two other girls the same thing. he must not know what love is.

Sounds like the guy is playing you and the other girls. He's lying in an attempt to get laid is what it really comes down to...

Sorry,
