im looking for my father but only know his name an all other websites i know include a big fee so if anyone knows a good website or a way of doing this this its would be so helpfull.

have you tried genes reunited. or freinds reunited you have to pay but ive managed to find a few people. sorry i know they r the obvious 1's

You could try the likes of friends reunited (fee is 7-50) or you could try the office of national statistic's census website if you have even a vague idea of where he was living and when born or the registrar general for births, etc.

What does your mother say about your fathers whereabouts, go to the hospitals for blood identifications and go to police station for a private search..

tracesmart it's about £10 to search the uk 2006 electoral roll for an hour with as many names as you can think of aunts uncles cousins etc
