I usually have at least two computers for this purpose. One running a windows OS and one running a Linux OS.

Wine is good but sometimes it does not install things correctly.

I have used VM Ware to install a windows OS in on a virtual machine and that worked great but you need a pretty powerful box.

You can use a program called Wine but not all software will work using this program. From my experience it works best with self contained programs. Programs that run from their own folders and do not utilize a lot of windows componets. There is also a program called Crossover that is also very good but its not free like wine.

yes the only computers that cannot install windows is a macintosh computer because it is made by apple and windows is, well.... made by windows. Dont panic
