Yes, if the court orders for child support, Title III allows up to 50 percent of an employee's disposable earnings to be garnished if the employee is supporting a current child, and up to 60 percent if the employee is not doing so. An additional five percent may be garnished for support payments over 12 weeks in arrears.

Regular garnishment can take 25% of your net disposable income, up to a minimum take home. Each state has different minimum take home pay requirements.

Fed and state can take the same 25% without any consideration to minimum take home pay.

Child support can take up to 50% (65% in some cases). No regards for minimum take home pay.
