I haven't had a parent walk in on me but I did walk in on my teenage son. I know it is normal and being a nurse for so long I just told him when he was finished I needed his help. i was cool with it and made it seem like no big deal so he wouldn't feel weird. I am very open when it comes to having talks about sex with my kids and I tell them that masturbating is a natural thing and I even joke sometimes with my husband that if I got rid of him I wouldn't get another, I say why would i want another guy when I can do it myself. But then I also tell him if he's good he can watch. So sex is openly talked about in my house. Not the extent of being graphic though and not all the time.

Yes, had my mom walk in on me... talk about embarrassing!!! We never said a thing about it after though!
