for business coursework i need to come up with a new product and more i think about just seems like everything out there, could be as simple as new flavour for a juice drink but then think about competition out there, have they already produced it and how could i make it different and do the customer/consumer want i, really helpfull for ideas please....

Is your question about invention ..inventing some thing for the first time ever ,than you have no problem,
since it hasn't been invented yet ,you can use your imagination,for example lets say you paid a lot of people
professors and scientist to make you a nuclear powered air bus carrying 25 passengers ,yes it's possible !!
so you are the only company who has this bus ,no competition .charge what you wish ,people will fight to get on,,no traffic ,no signals ,very fast service ,no parking problems ,..the advantages are endless ,and the need for a air bus is desperately needed ,it would be a God send ..
use your imagination ,lol
