Atheists believe we are here by chance and there are no rules governing life other than the ones we make for ourselves. They believe we are the product of nature and will cease to exist after our death. They do not believe in the supernatural at all.

No, atheists don't believe there is a god or a supernatural being that directs their life. that doesn't mean that they then worship themselves as a god, they just feel that they are part of a collective rather than a being placed on earth by another.
Any one can worship their own whims or desires but that is what most people call vanity, greed, or pride, it isn't usually refered to as worshiping many gods or a god. I think your a little confused on what an atheist is...

Atheists do not believe in any God. Since there is no physical proof that a God exists, most Atheists use this as their "proof". There are also Atheists that believe "partially", but only due to their own personal "feelings". Usually, they are called "Agnostics". Usually, Agnostics believe in a supreme being, but then again, the meaning of "Agnostic" has been periodically changing from the meaning of Atheist, to "suspicious". Gnostic is a Greek word meaning "knowledge".

There is no God in the sense that there is some invisible all powerful being floating off in space somewhere!
As for ones self being a god that is the only way one could say that a god exists!
After all the one that controls the direction that my life shall go is none other then ME! So I do believe in a god. I believe in MYSELF!
However I am a Satanist not an Atheist.

ANYTHING one Loves more than GOD becomes that persons god.
True Christians Keep God first in their lives.
If we are too busy with our JOB, Family, New House, New Car anything to worship God then we are worshipping another material god.

It's pretty simple really. A theist believes there is a God and that he is all-loving, all-knowing and all-caring. An athiest believes there is no such thing as God, there is no evidnece so he doesn't exist - he didn't create the world it was the creation of the 'Big Bang' theory.
An agnostic is someone who isn't sure and could be twisted both ways.
Simple huh? So don't confuse yourself! We are talking about Christianity here, not Islam.

Buy deffinition, Atheist don't believe in God. The word Theist means God. When you put an A in front of a word, it gives you the opposite meaning. Therefore Atheist means against God. Take another word, the word muse. Muse means to think. When you put an A in front of it, it means you stopped thinking, which is what most of the Atheist have done, they're here for amusement.

perchance they * shouldn't *. If God quite gave anybody loose will, then atheists, for inspite of reason, have determined now to not have self assurance. As someone above already stated, "arguing" for God's life is really moot. in the great, someone will have self assurance because the Holy Spirit finally convicted them of the reality. If one does no longer have self assurance in the Holy Spirit, i do not see that happening. If an atheist comes to a call their present day existence doesn't experience "ideal", they're going to search for some thing else. Do Christians have a "extra useful" existence because of God? seem at Paul, he became beaten, whipped and run out of city for his beliefs. Christians might want to assert Christianity brings them convenience. An atheist might want to retort that they choose no such crutch. Christians might want to assert they sin a lot less. Ha! Neither has a lock on morality. You reported that we gained't use "the afterlife" as a help for why Christianity is extra useful. If any such quandary is placed on the reaction, then we ought to stay with reports in this earth. if so, if we minimize our reaction to existence in the international, lets discover that the atheist might want to * continually * think of their existence is extra useful as an unbeliever. it truly is not till you become a have self assurance that your perspective differences to contain the afterlife. --- further ---- i spotted you stated both "in the lengthy time period" and "brushing aside the afterlife". To a Christian, both are inseparable.

No. I don't deify myself, kiddo. There is NOTHING god-like about me. I don't have ultimate cosmic powers, I don't know everything, I can't do everything, I can't defy the laws of nature, I can't do anything that a typical "deity" is purported to be able to do.
I also don't worship myself. Worship: adoring reverence or regard. I don't look upon my actions with adoring reverence or regard. How is it that I might "worship" my whims and desires? What, you think I sit around THINKING about my desires and then revering them?

Actually, I believe that they do or they would not fight it so much. It's the sin that they really do not want to deal with. They have fought so long and hard to deny that sin wrong or that they have to deal with sin to begin with. But, our GOD is a just GOD and HE is a moral GOD. HE will not be mocked, nor will HE be brought down. Those who pretend that they are
atheists, are just plain cowards and do not want to recognize the fact that they will one day have to REPENT of their sin's. We ALL have to do this sooner or later or suffer the hereafter consequences. Life without GOD will be so very painful as Eternity in Hell and final damnation is the price to pay. To bad though, they could just bow the knee and give over to the one and only GOD of Heaven and Earth.
If He can Create it all, then HE can certainly forgive us our SIN'S. The Bible say's " He is faithful and Just to forgive us our sin's". Further,
HE say's that " He died ONCE and FOR ALL SIN". Not just a few. But for all sin.
So I urge each of you that are involved in some sort of sin to ask Jesus to come into your heart and ask HIM to forgive you of yjour sin's and HE will do just what HE promised.
