I have long thick hair and it will never go straight and just goes back to being bushy if I straighten it. Does anyone please have any tips/ recommended products for stopping it going frizzy?

For a permanent solution, you could try Yuko. It's quite pricey but supposed to be very effective and also good for the hair rather than damaging.

Alternatively, invest in a pair of GHDs and some decent serum.

A bit of frizz -eaze serum when your hair is still soaking, then dry staright in small sections.
Finish by running a good quality ceramic straightner through small sections.
Time consuming which I why I normally end up wearing mine curly!!!

try to straighten it a little at a time. my hair is the same way and it takes me forever! also before you straighten it try putting something on it...i use Dove Smooth & Soft anti-frizz cream. it is amazing! i love it! just put that all over your hair and then straighten it slowly to make sure you get each hair

I will recomend that after you wash your hair use a hair dryer with a brush and then use a straighner and some silk just a little and that will help you keep ypu hair straight.

I think you should use a good conditioner and hair treatment cream/oil/serum before washing your hair (not to use daily) as well that may smooth, moisturize and softened your hair.. I use LUSH products..
