I agree with Chefgrille... Suntea IS the best. I would use the recipe she suggested, but to use 10-12 teabags to make it a bit stronger, as each glass will be watered down from the ice.
Have slices of fresh lemon, fresh sprigs of mint, and some simple syrup ready for your guests so they can custom make their own glass.
I like to use the simple syrup rather than just granulated sugar because the sugar alone will not dissolve quickly in cold liquids.
All you'll need is:
2 parts sugar
1 part water
Bring the water to a boil.
Dissolve the sugar into the boiling water.
Once the sugar is dissolved completely, remove the pan from the heat.
Allow to cool completely and bottle.
You can even make separate bottles of this stuff and infuse it with cinnamon or vanilla... it's delicious!
Ahhh... makes me long for summer again.

Most Southern women like me have their own special way of doing it and everyone's way is different. This is mine: boil water in a medium size pot. When it boils remove from heat, drop in about 5 regular size tea bags and cover pot with lid. Let steep about 20 minutes, remove tea bags and stir in about 3/4 cup sugar.Pour into pitcher.Make sure you hop up and refill your husband's glass, when he jingles the icecubes!! (Just kidding about the last part!)!

I don't know that there's technically a "recipe" for regular iced tea, but you would brew tea as you usually would, add sugar to taste, and add ice cubes. Leave it in the fridge. Otherwise, there's a pretty neat contraption called an iced tea maker...kinda like a coffee maker...all you do is follow the instructions and you'll have iced tea quickly.
Here's a site:

Get a gallon jug, put about 8-10 tea bags in it, fill with cold water, and set in the sun for several hours.
Sun tea is the best.
