Depends on what it is. But a serving is usually 1 cup or the size of a fist.

fruit should be the size of a grown mans or womans fist and vegetables should be.... salads should be the size of a MEDIUM plate but just 1 vege should be 1/4 of a medium plate.

considering that veggies are good for us more the better. but for a dinner party i figure on half a head of lettuce per guest, i mix at least 3 types of lettuces. for carrots etc i do half a pound per person. fruit for say a fruit salad i figure 2 PCs per person so 4 people would be 8 fruits cut up .

What she said, but don't be afraid to eat more fruits and veggies! Yum...I love cut up pineapple, honey dew melon, cantaloupe, blueberries and strawberries...I'll eat about 8 oz per day of that.

If it is baked in cheese sauce and butter... Not so much!
If it is steamed with a little chicken broth or salt and pepper... As much as your belly can take on! It's good for you!
