That's silly. Paganism is the worship of the old gods like Zeus or Odin. Atheists don't worship science and technology, they see them as tools to acquire knowledge to benefit the fellow man.

Perhaps you should look up what Paganism is. You, I presume, are using Paganism in the sense that it leads people away from God and to Satan. When, in fact, Pagans don't believe in Satan, nor do they try to lead people away from God. Christianity drives enough people away from the Abrahamic God on its own without help from other faiths.

Atheists, while I'm sure they would be thrilled if everyone realized "God doesn't exist", spend a good portion of their time struggling just to get fundamentalists to THINK. If you believe that trying to get people to actually think will lead to the devil, then I guess that explains the stupidity of your question. You certainly didn't think about it before posting.

Your question makes as much sense as suggesting that Christians are going to lead man into underwater basketweaving.

Christians have much more in common with pagans than atheists do. Atheists accept what is knowable through observation and research. Both Christians and Pagans "believe" things on the basis of blind faith, not the reality of credible evidence.

Yeah, you do realize that atheists don't believe in or worship any gods and that Pagans tend to be polytheistic, believing and worshiping many gods?

And pray do tell, how is the use of technology and science going to lend everyone back to the days of old? Are they going to built a time machine?

Atheists do not believe in any religion so they cannot lead anyone to paganism. We choose to leave Christianity in huge numbers and choose pagan religions because they are a much more gentle, and loving and peaceful religion. We are not required to defend a Holy Book or to proselytize. We are only responsible for ourselves.

What's the difference between science and "science"?

Pagans lead people into paganism. Atheists lead people into atheism.

Although paganism is a marked improvement over the religions currently popular.
