What haircolor/s go with black eyebrows?

Question

I am asian with the typical black hair and eyebrows. However, I want to dye my hair but NOT my eyebrows. I've seen girls with their hair all different colors but with their eyebrows black and it looks funky. So.. should I just get some highlights and if so, what colors? I was thinking dark brown.. nothing too dramatic.. but not too black-ish.

Any suggestions?

I am Asian too, I have black eyebrows, but I like to dye (all) my hair with mahogany color. I think that's really suits me. I tried copper highlight, it looks ok, I tried ash blonde, but it's just not right...so I look...weird! ;)
Dark brown doesn't work really well with black hair. If you want, try mahogany color or purple-ish color (it's also trend for 2007!) =)
But I also bought a light brown eyebrow pencil/powder to enhance my look. And sometimes it is really ok just not using that eyebrow pencil/powder.
If you want to look different, ask your stylist to colored your hair with caramel color by Loreal. It's a nice color!

Black, dark brown, deep red. A lot of French people have lighter hair with very dark eyebrows and it comes natural to them. You can try lightening them up if you do decide to go lighter with your hair. You can use a shimmery gold powder and lightly brush some over them so it gives them a shimmer and a slightly lighter look. You can also use a very small amount of peroxide, brush it on lightly with a brow brush, let it sit for 5-10 minutes and wash off with water and soap. Just For Men has some colors that may be suitable for your brows. Don't make the mistake of dyeing them the same color as your hair as eyebrows are naturally darker than your hair color, and don't leave the color on too long as it will soak in more and become lighter, you will end up with brow roots and this is not a very attractive feature.

i dont think you need highlights...personally i like when the eyebrows dont match the hair. my hair is blonde and i have light brown eyebrows but sometimes i shade them in a darker color brown. i think it will look fine and if you dont like it then get some light brown highlights or something or maybe try to color your eyebrows in

Well for me, i have black eyebrows too :) when i filled them in with a black eye pencil it looked WAY too dark, so i recommend you to use eyeshadow instead. It works well! :) just go buy a plain old black eyeshadow (no sparkles or shimmers) and brush it on your eyebrows. Its subtle, yet noticeable, and it wont look harsh either :)

black with darkish red highlights
semi-permanent red dye. red kind of washes out so that you
only see it in the sun. not store bought stuff though, doesnt
work good. i got mine professionally done & it looks good.
dark rich brown.
keep it mostly natural or it'll be kinda tacky. (like blonde)
dying your eyebrows isnt that bad though just so you know.

IT'S UNDERSTANDABLE BUT COLOR YOUR HAIR WHICH EVER COLOR I MEAN WHAT ABOUT THOSE GIRLS WHO COLOR THEIR HAIR BLONDE AND THE EYEBROWS ARE DARK THAT LOOKS WIERD BUT THEY STILL DO IT PEOPLE ARE USED TO SEEING THAT SO DON'T TRIP AND CHANGE YOUR HAIR TO A BROWN MAYBE A DARKER BROWN OR YEAH ADD HIGH LIGHTS TRY RED ONES I LIKE THAT BUT REMEMBER IT'S WHAT YOU LIKE NOT OTHERS

if you have blonde hair that will naturally get bleached by the particular sun in the summer. There has been this guy in my class who also had golden blonde hair that has been a medium brown near the bottom. When he came back to college after summer vacation, it was nearly platinum blonde!
