Does this mean that you will burn less calories in the day if you eat and then like an hour later take a nap?

If you take the nap after an hour then yes. You should wait about 2 hours before taking a nap, the digestion phase its not over making it really difficult for your body to burn those calories and simply make it fat.

you use more energy while you sleep than you do watching tv. so i would have to say no
