I'd consider myself part of the working middle class poor. Being taxed to death and having to live with it.

where we stand in life & how much we make a year should not matter, rich, middle class or poor. You are not permitted to announce where you stand in life. I think that, as long as you are responsible, you know how to take care of yourself, your family & to be happy, looking forward to the future, that's all that matters. Life is NOT about competition. It's about finding yourself & making your life worth living by making good choices in life, we sometimes make bad choices, just as long as you learn from them, stay strong & move forward. Being wealthy, middle class or poor does not define you as a person. Your attitude in life defines you as a person. It's sad to see that people let money make them into something they are not. Money is important in life, of course because we need it to live. But it shouldn't come first & it shouldn't be the reason why you would judge anybody or put anybody in their place.

I was wealthy until I married. Then I was middle class. I stayed and she decided that managing money meant spending all of it plus 15% so now I am poor.

Lets just say my husband makes more then enough to support our family all by himself. We don't lack anything we need and can get pretty much whatever we want. I really don't know how much he really makes, but I do know unlike most people were not in debt.

I consider myself middle class. I am in the 15% tax bracket.

Well, first off it doesn't matter what you make...it's your "spending power". I make close to $100K a year, but because I have alot of money tied up in this & that, my spending power is decreased. So I would say I'm poor ;)
