i actually use a combination of in the morning my murad products, which are great. and in the evening i wash with cetaphil then apply this retinoid cream-tazorac. the cream has really been working. its a prescription only cream. it works to pull whats deep underneath the skin and will most likley reveal its ugly face in a few days or weeks. then it works on all that its brought out as well as clear up any dark spots. today makes 3 weeks i've used it and my faced has cleared up dramatically. i did experience a slight obreakout when i first started using it, flaking and dryness. I cant wait for another month or so to see the difference. my acne is mostly on cheeks and chin. my nose is clear as well as my forehead.
I've also increased my water intake which is something you just cant get around. its a must for everything with your body. plus eat a little bit more fruits and veggies.
check out the ask a patient site reagarding tazora so you can get real reviews from people who have actually used it.

My daughter tried everything also including proactive nothing helped. I took her to the dermatologist and he prescribed antibiotics (tetracyclin), retin A, and a benzoid cream. She also has had 3 blue light treatments. Her skin is finally clearing up ( a lot) after a month of treatment.
Honest- the dermatologist can fix it- We tried everything else first to no avail.

You could try Proactive, but it didn't work for me. Actually, the one thing that did work best was something that wasn't even for acne. It's called Oraflam (a Swedish company) and it's mostly just a really REALLY good skin care regimen. It moisturizes and cleans your skin really good. It is expensive, but it got my skin looking great a month before a wedding.

Proactiv did not work for me......... and I do not believe on the OTC stuff. ask your dermatologist for Accutane and he will tell you, but thats only if you are serious about it. Accutane is probably the best of the best, is even mentioned on the Proactiv book Face the Facts. and nothing works 100% but Accutane is somewhere in the 90's

Acne sucks! I've been using a treatment for a year now and so far it's the only one that's worked good for me. I'm almost free from acne now! I highly recommend it.

yes, try neutrogena oil free acne wash. but get the foaming kind. it comes in a small bottle, and its orange and has a foaming pump on it. i used this when my face was really bad with acne, and it helped because it dried my face out and didnt cause anymore acne to return.

Try Proactive, and switch your make up the Bare Minerals. Bare Minerals will help alot because it has Zinc in it, and it will help heal up your acne...
