Ok, lets say, you are a 19/20/21 year old guy and a girl of 16 years old begins talking to you and showing you she's interested...a girl who is very mature and has her head on her shoulders...what would you do?....would you accept and offer to coffee or even ask her out yourself? Btw...if this all happened in a country where it is legal...( in this case, it's Scotland...) :-)

Well, I was 29 and the 16 year old with all of the same things you described showed me interest only I didn't know she was 16. Beyond your description, she was very well developed meaning her chest and when I say she was developed I mean she was DEVELOPED!
We dated for several weeks and she even took me home to meat her parents. They knew how old I was but it didn't bother them. We made love at the drop of a hat...ANY HAT. The rest is a long and anti-climatic story but as for your question yes, I'd take her out for coffee or lunch or something nice.
By the way, I didn't know it was legal in Scotland. I think I'm going to have to make a trip there before I'm too far over the hill.

Too much potential hassle from parents (hers) and friends.
Age difference is too great when both are so young so its not going to last unless your very lucky.
The girl at 16 might think she is mature and knows it all but she doesnt!
Guys at that age are just starting to mature into men a 16 year old girl is not ready for all that brings with it.
A mature guy of that age would not even consider it.

its a tough question... there's a perception of a 21yr old dating a 16yr old... although you're both of legal age other people might have issues with it... and while you might knowingly accept this, it will be something you'll both have to deal with....
age gaps diminish as you get older, thus a 25yr old dating a 30 yr old isn't perceived as an issue, but the younger you are the more its magnified!
the best thing to do is see what happens, and ask him for coffee... you're two individuals... good luck...

19/20/21 is not that much older than 16.... Thats not the problem, its do you have anything in common as he is more than likely going to pubs/clubs etc where you would not be able to get into and its not the greatest thing going round your girlfriends house just sitting in her room as she probably has to be in before its dark. So its not the age thing, its other things

In many cased dude was less experienced then girl.
its perfectly fine and they are like any other relationship

Well Cinema, pub, music, gigs, sports whatever.
As for the shes so innocent.... get real... 16 year old at her peak and knew it and were discussing all sorts of relationship matters... whilst boys were clueless.
He was only into one thing...
Er no... they were like any couple... liked kissing cuddling. making out, cinema, dancing and being together.
So no probs at all if I had likeed the girl gone for it.. Just like others did and the girls were mates too...
its those trying to split them up I would see as trying to hurt girl mates.

If it is legal hmmm sure Coffee or Tea would be fine. Had that happen to me when I was that age over here in the States and I said no way.
