my mom has just started in photography, and she got a mailing list, made up a bunch of postcards advertising what she does, and mailed them to all the high-income people in the 2 closest towns to us. your first mailing, only expect 1% or so of the ppl to book appointments, but keep sending stuff out!! the old-fashioned snail mail is still doing its job :-)
