ipods and other devices store most data magnetically, there is nothing that can be weighed, there is mass however, everything has mass, even energy, but it would be miniscule.

I'm fairly sure the answer to this would be nothing. 4GB of ipod music isn't thought, it's data stored on a little card or hard-drive. That can be weighed. Thought is made by conscious beings like animals - humans.

The thoughts that go on in your head are the result of electrical impulses between parts in your brain, and so can't really be weighed.

Energy is used to change the state of memory devices, but no mass is transferred, so there is no weight.

A full USB thumb drive would weigh the same as an empty one.

It weighs nothing. Entropy has no mass.
