I am thinking about buying a new car. I have a few in mind? What are some suggestions for a car with good features for a decent monthly payment. No escalades, benz, or lexus type suggestions. I'm not ballin' like that. Thanks

Well, you have the Kia, Hyundai, Mazda, Honda, and other imports like that even though I am a firm believer of not buying an import. But then you do have cars like the Ford Focus, Chevy Cavalier, Dodge Caliber, Chevy Aveo, these would be good on gas, and good on your pocket. Just don't expect power.

Best compact car value dollar for dollar is the Toyota Corolla. Price/features and reliability are second to none. The Honda Civic is just as good of a car but slightly more expensive. Nissan Sentra are good cars as well. These 3 brands midsize sedans are also top notch. Camry, Accord & Altima/Maxima as well as Mitsibishi Galant. Others are cheaper but none have a better value. Check out consumerreports.org. for articles on cars. Their info is very accurate on repair records etc. For 30 bucks you have full access to their site for a year. This covers virtually all major consumer products. A good investment. Good luck.

By the way, why trust a guy who makes a living fixing cars to tell you a good car to buy. Doesn't he get paid to repair broken cars? Is it in his best intrest to recommend a car that doesn't need repairs? Ask him what you can sell your hyundai for used. One of the worst resale values on the market. (See below)

There are a lot of nice cars around, but when you buy one, keep your eye out for the warranty part of it. Some of the cars, now have excellant warranty programs. My last two GM cars, have had problems, and with no help from GM or my dealer, I will not buy another Chevrolet car. (Lumina and Impala) In the spring I will be looking for a new car myself, I'm considering a Toyota, or Kia. Test drive what you buy. Good Luck shopping.

It depend your price range! It is a must you look at Honda and Acura. Lancer Evo I believe only come in a stick. So if you can drive a stick check em out also. or if you want speed you can look at the Subaru impreza WRX, lance evo, Dodge charger. But those might be out of your price range. I don't know those are the cars I would look at!

Depends on what exactly you’re looking for (sedan or sport) and how much you’re willing to fork out, also pre owned or brand new off the line. . . I’d suggest Mazda 3 if you want something roomier with a bit more features a Mazda 6. Affordable and reliable . . . my fav’s.
If you want to be seen in something a bit more sporty, then the civic coup is one to consider, again good on gas and very reliable. Just my two cent.

Good luck on your search.

O-k, the best car for you would be the Hyundai sonata. Its a good running car with alot of pep and it has a purchase price for around $15,000 which will give you a payment of around $260.00 a month. Also it comes with a 10year 100,000 mile warranty. It looks good and is good on gas as well which certainly helps everyone on a limited budget.
Also they come with all the good features that you need.It will have a CD player anti lock brakes airbags a/c and power windows and locks with a factory alarm system.they are pretty roomy for their size and good leg room and comfort for your passengers. The truck is pretty big as well.I believe they have around 8 color options to choose from so its likely you will find one in the color you will like.
Go check them out,I think you will be pleased.
Good luck!
Hey, dont listen to that guy on the accord or maxima, those cars cost too much and you will have a high payment and pay too much for insurance as well.
