I, being a girl, am disgusted and frightened when I see lesbian couples. Even though I have nothing against them. I think that it's the same with men. They feel that gay people may not be as manly or as strong as a straight man. Which is untrue. So I guess to answer your question I would have to say that, I think am man would be frightened, not flattered unless he was already confused about his sexuality in the beginning.

one of my bessie mates in oxford was gay,he knew i was with a girl (who i later married) but never hid the way he felt about me,either from me,her or the world, i told him straight off, nothing that way would ever happen,i respected him for his honesty with me, he respected mine for answering him honestly and he was one of the most stand up mates i've ever had the fortune to call my friend, we lost contact a few years ago,but i know he's out there being himself, enjoying life and taking life as it should be so the answer to your question,im afraid, lies within yourself, can you deal with this mans sexuality? is it an issue for you or can you have a 'normal' friendship and appreciate him as a person?if not its better to say so and avoid confusion or possible hurt feelings
but hey,live well, die well

It all depends on your homophobic quotients level. Geesh i wonder if I can trade mark that??!! If the male hQ level is hi things can get nasty. a person who is more open minded wil consider it flattering. He would say to himself eeww I'mnot gay but it still another tick on the counter.

It'd be just like knowing that a woman I'm not attracted to thinks I'm good looking. Kind of flattering, but not something I'd return.

hey if you're comfortable with your sexuality, with being straight, you'd be flattered.
else
if you're the over macho im the man type, beating your chest, then you'd be offended and wanna nail a pipe up the sorry gay;s a s s.
else if your gay, then i suggest, heck go for it kid.

Nope!
I make it clear for any dude that happens to be gay or bi, I don't hate you for wanting to be poked back there and that is your business, I aint a homophobe, BUTT you will respect the fact that I am heterosexual and therefore don't try to put your behavior on me.

Honestly, I would kick his ***. If a gay man ever puts his hand on your shoulder, femaninelike, kick his *** as well. To gay men, that means I want you. Most straight men don't know what it means so it doesn't feel awkward or weird. KICK HIS ***.
