An interesting exercise. My first choice is brunettes. I prefer women who are practical but adventuresome in terms of spontaneity and trying out new things. I like women who appreciate the little things I do. Rebelliousness is okay to a point, i.e. style of dress, etc., but in terms of legality or propriety, I shy away from that type of rebellion.
Women who care about family score big in my book, as well as those who take time to organize, keep track of finances, etc. Showiness in terms of possessions, cars, and the like doesn't usually impress me, because those things are just things.
I'm curious. Why are you asking?

i prefer black hair but that's just me. i like girls that are nice(hell no not preppy or perfect) smart. the ones that like the action in sports like football. i like the girls that are in between popular and popular because well there hotter than the cheerleaders most of the time and like me and stuff.(wild and rebellious is another thing i do look for in a girl ooh yeah)

I've dated all kinds. I'm not a big fan of redheads because they tend to have a fiery temper. Natural blondes are awesome, but get too much attention, so not good for a jealous guy like me. My best relatioships were with brunettes. I'm married to one now and it's GREAT! I guess it just depends on what personality you are interested in, no as much as the hair color.

I would say this: more than anything else, a woman who knows how to be herself and that likes herself. If you try to make yourself like what other people want, you'll only make yourself unhappy and in the end, disappoint the guy because you won't be able to keep up the charade of being someone other than who you are.
Having the confidence to be who you are is attractive, and much better in the long run. TRUST ME.

Hair color really has nothing to do with it sinc so many of you change it to suit yourselves
However personality wise, I prefer someone that is comfortable both in a formal gown as well as a leather miniskirt and bustier top
and knows that a pearl choker is suitible for both

My personal preferences are red and blonde in that order.
Personality wise ... I just like someone who is comfortable being themselves, has a feel for good hygiene -- though I'm pretty flexible on the grooming -- and can talk about something without being too repetitious.
I like them spontaneous, opinionated, able to say what they mean, and mean what they say.
Just a regular girl because I'm just a regular guy !
