For the past year, I have done research on this for my civic club. We sponsor a youth club at the high school and the kids are asking the same question. Below I will list some of what I have found (getting tired of typing this, have already told 4 people tonight).
Some corporations offer scholarships. In many cases, they have each of their stores to award the scholarships to student in their community. 1 company, provides scholarships to kids as young as 6 (that was not a typing error on my part).
On these websites, look for something like: ABOUT US or CORP INFO. Go there, and then look for COMMUNITY or COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT:
1. www.bestbuy.com (look for Make Learning Fun) up to $10,000
2. www.comcast,com up to $1,000 or an internship + a scholarship if Comcast provides cable in your area
3. www.CBRLGROUP.COM (Cracker barrel) Look for CBRL Foundation
4. www.kohls.com (MY FAVORITE) up to $5,000
5. www.walmartfoundation.ORG Look for: COMMUNITY scholarship, up to $1,000 or $2,500 if an employee
6. www.mcdonalds.com Varies from a corporation scholarship or if it is provide by the local group of people operating stores.
Most are a 1 or 2 page application. Most considers civic invovment (Keyettes, Key Club, Science Club, etc).
Good luck, and if you don't find a "match" with these companies, try some other companies in your area - check their websites.

If she can try to get her marks up a little, continue playing soccer, she has a good chance of a scholarship. My son is an A student, plays elite level ice hockey ( in Canada), and has tons of VOLUNTEER hours. (he coaches team of 5 year old, evaluates coaches for the league, visits a senior's home with his dog ( therapy pair), and helped build a house for habitat for Humanity. He has been offered SIX scholarships to US schools, two of them Ivy League, and we were told the absolute biggest thingwas the balance of his life, and that the quality and quantity of his volunteer hours was what impressed the schools the most.
In Ontario, where we are from, all high school students must have aminimum of 40 community service hours to graduate. My son has over 400. If your daughter can even keep her marks at b+, play soccer, and get her rear in gear to volunteer, she has a very good chance of getting a scholarship to whatever school she chooses/
Good L:uck!

well there are plenty of things you can do
1) file for federal aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov (depending on ur income, your daughter will be awarded money)
2) go to www. fastweb.com a free scholarship search web.
3) Go to your company and see if they offer tuition for children of employees.
admissioncounseling@yahoo.com
I would do 1 first because it is the best source of fin aid.

Get her to be an "A" student. Hit the books, cocentrate more on studying her books than on football. Cut out all junk food, exercise and drink lots of water.

Many organizations and local businesses offer scholarships sometimes. If she is involved in any clubs they may offer scholarships. Also check with where you work and see if they might offer any.
