Are you more "moral" than the next guy? How much so?

I imagine that most everyone considers himself or herself to be quite the moral person, but really, are we all that good? On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most moral, law-abiding and truthful person possible, and 1 being the compulsive liar who murders for fun, where are you?

6, 6.5, 7 on a good day, 1 if I don't get that friggin' raise I've been gunning for.

I consider myself an 8 right now. Some people elevate their morality level as life teaches them lessons. Some people choose to ignore it or get worse.

For example I used to fake being sick so I could take days off at work. I know tons of people probably do this. But this was almost 10 years ago. Now even if I am sick I try to make it in to work because the guilt of making money by lying is too much for me to bear.

Also, I would never really help people in distress before. But now I try to help anyone anytime I can. I feel it is my duty as a fellow human. The other day a couple driving a BMW were stranded in a ditch when their car skidded on ice. My friend and I stopped and offered help which they were very happy to accept.

We got our shoes and clothes muddy in the ditch, but we managed to push them out.

Morality has a lot to do with spirituality as well. I consider myself very spiritual presently and I try to keep my mind, my heart and my soul pure.
