I can't stand her boring stories from her day, I can't even pretend I care... I love her but sometimes its overwhelming!

No offence, but I think the ladies who read this question and respond will agree with me - if you love her you will find a way of appreciating her stories.

That being said, a lot of the time that stories bore other people is that they feel excluded. If your g/f (or wife) is talking about some issue with her boss, for example, interject a comment that you know how that situation goes and perhaps you can share experiences. I realize that perhaps 95% of what she says bores you, but if there is even one comment you can identify with, try to involve yourself with reference to that.

Here is the litmus test: let me assume for one moment that she tells stories to more than just you. If you are at a party or with a group of friends, do the stories she tells about you and her bore you? If they do then that is your sign of trouble. If you feel interested in those stories, then you know that your inability to listen to her daily work stories are more about your own selfishness rather than her storytelling abilities.

Now, don't misread me. You may not be selfish, and even if you are, that is correctable. Be glad though - I am sure there are many relationships where the two partners speak seldomly to each other so take your boredeom with a grain of salt.

You may want to really rethink if it is love you are feeling, or just lust or just the fact that ur comfortable in the relationship. Because LOVE is loving every single thing about that person, boring stories and all. You may think asking her how her day was sounds boring, but she could possibly be thinking the same about you, but accepts it. In every relationship there are things we wish we could change about the other person, but the fact is, when you love someone, u accept EVERYTHING about them. And if u cant handle their downfalls or little petty stupid things, then get out. It isnt fair to the other person to drag them on thinking u feel the same way that they do.

If she's a boring person, there's probably not a lot you can do about it -- I don't think you should tell her how you feel -- it will only hurt her. You should probably break up W/ her or 'take a break'. Typically, people get more interesting when you're not spending as much time with them. If you decide to break up, tell her it's because of your differences in interest. That won't be so personal. Best of luck!

Relationships shouldn't be hard. If you can't stand talking to her, then it's time to hit the road. You want someone you can talk to, and someone you care enough about to listen to. You say you love her, but do you really? Why waste your or her time? Have you ever told her you have a problem listening to her? Maybe she's a motormouth and doesn't realize it. As for her side, she deserves someone who cares. Sorry Dude, but you don't.

If it gets to a point where you can't stand or even care about your mates conversations; then yes, it over. Give her the opportunity to meet someone who is interested in what she has to say.

you cant just break up with somoene just because ur getting sick of her stories, at least try and talk to her and fix the problem first, then if there is no improvment move on.

Do you think it will get better? It won't. Find someone you can have a conversation with and actually care what they have to say.
