The answer that somebody has given suggests you should 'pluck the hairs'- do NOT do this. You may end up with ingrown hairs.
Seeing as this 'laser treatment' that alot of people have been suggesting is more than likely just not practical for many reasons for most of you reading this, I suggest you should wax it every week. It costs only about £4.50 for veet wax strips, but if you're on a tight budget then you can get supermarket brands' wax strips for little over a pound. They can keep your legs smooth for up to two weeks, and only take about 10-15 minutes to do(unless you're very hesitant after the first strip, as it does sting quite a bit but sometimes its not that bad :P)
If you don't want to go through this pain, then you can buy hair removal creams which only cost around 3-4 pound. They are pain free but i don't think that it lasts as long as waxing. You can buy ones that you can use in the shower, and wont wash off unless you actually aim your shower head directly at it, at short distance.
Other than that you can just buy a professional(re-usable) razor. Wilkinson sword for example- i have two =] I don't think you should use a disposable razor unless you are in a hurry and don't have anything else that you could use around. Their effects don't last that long. However may i warn you that every time you shave the hairs grow out thicker. I hope this helps you! :)

Dear,...Take some advice, from an old spinster seamstress, old enough to be your aunt. DON'T USE A RAZOR, NO WAY NO HOW...OUCH! Use a product that don't smell foul, and one which won't irritate your skin, Now, is such a product hard to find? You bet it is, which is why i heartilly propose your considering electrolysis. To to a reputable parlor you must go, where they practice this painless proceedure. I have had it done numerous times and feel great every time mine legs, arms, chin, or other is zipped. SMOOTH as silk they are, and no five o'clock shadow...it last forever. And also don't forget about them laser treatments. They have become all the rage, and are mucho effective., if a bit more costly. But, if money is your prime concern , then lengthen that hemline! I happen to believe that the hemline is overdue for extension....but that hemline alteration needs a tailor. When the hemline is secured, press with a steam iron, for best results. Good luck, my dear. Mary

Everyone is saying wax, but thats so painful. And laser hair removal: um, EXPENSIVE! and shaving, well that just suuuucks.
The best option is Nair or Rasera, found at any store pretty much. You just apply a thin layer on the hair, wait 5-8 min, and wipe it off, and it works WONDERS!!! :) u can even use it on ur bikini line! so say goodbye to raser burn and bumps! The results usually last a little over a week before the hair starts to try growing back.

Pluck it . I did. It wasnt that bad. then daily look for little hairs sprouting up its cheap and easy but painful. I have done everything except fo laser and there is no way I will pay over 3000 for both legs ever even if I was a millionare because it takes like 3 years to get it all for good! even then it still comes back

you could wax them; should last you about 3 weeks, or, if you have dark hair, laser hair removal, although pricey, is permanent, and will more than pay for itself in the long run.
Laser on fair hair does not usually work so well, and any technician who tells you it does is lying to you. Dark hair, though? It will work, just takes a few sessions and could cost you about $1000.00. Good luck, and remember, it is a small price to apy for self esteem!

Shave it just before when it matters. Or change the world and make hairy legs hot.

try waxing if you don't want that pain, try Nair. its a cream that you get that is by the shaving supplys. it is not pain full and i would just leave it on for a few extra min. than the bottle tells you to since you have fast growing hair I'm guessing its thicker too

I would also recommend waxing.Except for laser removal it lasts longest. It does hurt quite when you do it for the first time, but it gets easier with time, and you get used on it.After waxing your hairs will get thinner and will grow slowly.I would recommend you to take a nice long warm bath before you do it,pores will get wider so it will hurt less.Good luck

Why don't you try getting them waxed? They last a pretty long time. For the best experience, wax them once a week.

waxing, shaving, depilatories, electrolysis, laser hair removal, prescription treatments...
i personally like waxing. it doesnt hurt that bad like ppl think & say. It lasts a long time. Cheaper than laser hair removal but doesnt make your hair thicker like shaving &depilatories shaving/depilatories make your hair grow back much faster & thicker & darker. i like waxing best definitely for coarse hair too.
