Because they are confused.

God is holy, righteous and loving. When he does or allows something, it is to draw us nearer to him.

Satan on the other hand wants to destroy God's plan and purpose for our lives, in essence trying to get us to drop out of the race.

NEVER, EVER GIVE UP!!!

Jesus saves, forgives and LIVES!

Because they are fools, trying at every turn to 'prove' that God doesn't exist.

At the same time consider this: Since God is in control, and never lost control, then a smarter question is: Why did God allow this to happen ?

(this may be what some are 'asking' when they 'blame' God)

Now this person is acting as an equal to God . . . equal so that they can second guess or pull God "in on the carpet" and ask him to explain . . . again a fools mission . . .

BTW: the answer to the 'smarter' question: He must have a good and valid reason.

tragedies, not tragedy's.
Some people blame God, some people blame Satan. It depends on how they look at life. If you aren't religious, like I'm not, then you blame nature and the way things work. The Earth has fault lines and weather systems and bad people. That's why bad things happen. It's sad really, but you've got to live with it.

Good point.
We all should blame Satan based on 1 John 5:19.
Some might prefer to blame God because He is known as the all-powerful, so why doesn't He do something.
That, of course, is specious reasoning.
God obliges Himself to act in ways of justice and righteousness (otherwise why associate with Him) and many times we don't understand the whole story ...making it seem that He is wrong.
He's not.

Lets say that Satan does in fact exist and lets say an all knowing God created Satan. Who's fault is it then? The creation or the creator? The designer or the design? Personally i think its mythology, fun to read and ponder about, but you will become delusional if you base your entire life on any of it...

obviously no longer! previously his fall, he had the optimal position between the angels ... he became the overlaying angel. The angel that became above the throne of the most severe (Ezek. 2814, 15). yet his pride needed extra. He had to be like the most severe (Isa. 14:thirteen, 14). we are able to continually, if given the prospect, blame some different person ... it truly is our human (fallen) nature. Anna, any such tremendous type of folk even between the saints do no longer understand God's predestination. it would want to in no way make God the "undesirable guy" in the journey that they quite understood predestination. God predetermined that faster or later we would want to be like His Son. Predestination applies in reality to saved human beings. Nowhere are we taught that God predestines human beings to be endlessly condemned. in the journey that they are condemned, it truly is because of their refusal to have self assurance Christ (John 3:18-21). those whom He chosen, He referred to as (see II Thess. 2:thirteen, 14); even as they spoke back to His call, He justified them, and He also glorified them. this signifies that the believer has already been glorified in Christ (John 17:22); the revelation of this glory awaits the coming of the Lord (Rom. 8:21-23). How do we Christians ever be discouraged and pissed off after we already share the respect of God? Our suffering on the prompt in reality ensures that a lot extra glory even as Jesus Christ returns! (The Bible Exposition remark N.T. quantity a million by Warren W. Wiersbe) i wish this has shed some mild for you.

Neither are responsible actually. We humans have used those answers as a scapegoat for too long now. If someone is suffering WE should do something about it. If someone is in danger WE should try to save them. If something bad happens to someone that is beyond our control (natural disaster) then WE should try to help them. It is time we all started to care for each other and our mother Earth and stopped putting the blame on an external being.

Why do people see an intention behind hurricanes and tsunamis in the first place? They are perfectly natural phenomenon. Maybe if a giant glowing hand picked people up and tossed them about like Black and White, I would assume a displeased spiritual entity was connected...

Because - you people claim that only God can create. So, natural disasters...God's fault. Tragedy - God's fault. Why blame Satan when he is incapable for creating anything??
