Yeah, he did. Stopped after I kept doing it to him. His worst thing was this: If I would go anywhere and leave him with someone, he would ask them over and over "Is Mommy coming?" and it drove people crazy. What can I say, he was(and still is) a Mamas boy. And not in the sissy way, lol.

Your child is just wanting some more attention for whatever reason, I not saying you are not giving enough, I am just saying that is what is usually the case with the kids. Just play a game of hide and seek here and there, and then make it very clear that the game is overwith and the child should not keep calling you.

Yes. I believe its an attention thing but also don't forget that a sense of humor is something that has to be developed over time. Its just a child's way of being silly.

Yes my 3 and 4 year-olds do. And now my 9 month-old is saying moma. She says it so many time and when I say her name like that she just laughs. I think it is cute but maybe they will grow out of it. Although my 16 year-old brother still does it to bother my mother.

It's not cute, it's irritating! I was at dinner last night with my daughter and she kept interrupting my mom and I and she just wanted to tell me random stuff. I give her all of my attention, but when there is someone else in the equation, she doesn't like it...

No, but when I was a teenager I babysat for a little girl who would do that. She thought it was hilarious, and I gotta admit it was pretty cute!

You may be making fun of your child's horrible stuttering problem.

That's cute. He or she just wants your attention. It means he/she loves you. Maybe you smile or tilt your head when you talk to them and it makes them feel good.
