This lady at work brought some puppies and I wanted one for my b/f really bad but I knew he wouldn't take it. So I got her anyway and told him that I had found her in the middle of the road and that someone almost hit her. He said he would keep her as long as I took her to the vet and bought food.
Now, the dog goes everywhere with him - she's even flying to see his mom with him. He loves her so much and she absolutely spoiled rotten. I wouldn't dare tell him the truth about it! LoL!

As far as telling those little white lies, yes. If someone is having some real emotional issues, you want to bolster their ego. I don't believe in overstating or going to extremes, but little lies sometimes help. Never, ever talk down a boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse, etc. as they may get back together, and all they will remember is how you trashed the other.

We told my grandparents that we'd found this dog and we couldnt keep it - and the dog took to them right away. They agreed to keep it for a week until we found someone else. Well that was 10 yrs ago and they still have the Dog. He came at a good time when they had lost their other dog 2 yrs previous to getting Tommy!!

yes i have, i have a friend i have had for years, he is not very good looking and has a problem with hygiene, but he has the biggest heart and has a memory for civil wars and the past like you would never believe, he is a loner and doesn't date , i have always been his friend and always tried to build him up rather it be truth or a lie, sometimes you have to say a few things to someone for their own good even if it isnt the whole truth
