Hey, you are having fun! That's considered healthy. You're not out breaking the law.

Everyone has a child inside but some of us pretend we have to be grown up all of the time. Being adult can be a drag at times; it is hard work.

Please! I love Elmo on Sesame Street and am quite proud to say so.

Just enjoy yourself!

I agree entirely. In my case, I think it's because motherhood has fried my brain and it's the only television that makes any sense. Let's face it, there's Celebrity Big Brother and Eastenders on the "grown up" channels which makes Balamory look like a BAFTA award winning documentary.

You need to watch your addiction though. A little while ago I was in a meeting watching a presentation and a tune kept popping into my head, so I started humming it under my breath. After a couple of minutes, my colleague sat next to me (who also has a toddler) lent over and whispered "Storymakers, Storymakers, working through the night 'til the rising sun". Sooooooo embarrassing. Still at least I get to chill out with Blue Cow and my daughter every evening.

What's wrong with finding a safe legal easy way to zone out? It's kinda like a drug. Makes you just tune out the stress and get in a happy zone.
It broke my heart when my son stopped watching The Wiggles!
And Spongebob is awesome!
I still miss She-Ra and Thundercats though haha. It's hard enough being a grown up, paying bills, worrying about the kids, driving through rush hour traffic..etc. Why shouldn't we get some mindless entertainment once in a while?

There's something about watching CBeebies that's so easy and effortless and takes you back to a time when life was sooooooo simple...

I love watching it! My son is now too old for CBeebies and I'm gutted! :)

Spider, Peppa Pig and good old Thomas the Tank Engine! :) FAB! xx

Because kids programs are usually written by adults that think they know what kids like.

In fact the closest they probably get to kids is when they drive past a school.

The result of their program writing effort is something that appeals to people like them.
