If you are only going for a week, you will be fine. Remember to take your green card with you and make sure it is not expired when you come back. Have a good trip.

It seems you are on your temporary green card, then you need to apply for an Advance Parole at the USCIS. It will allow you to leave the country within the 2 years of the "first" green card.

You don't need any parole to travel. It's a resident card so you are able to travel to anywhere you want. Just don't over stay out there or you won't come back in. But as you said, one week is ok.

I know you are allowed to travel but there is a limit to how long you can go for without starting the process over(I don't know how long that limit is).
