If you can get a good breakfast and wait at least 30 min before you go work out it is best to work out in the morning because that workout will help digest that food and kick start your metabolism for the day. However, most of us do not have that much time so working out in the evening is our only option. That only thing to worry about when working out in the evening and getting optimal results is that you 1. need to workout regularly and 2. you need to work on portion control though out the day!

It's better to work out in the morning before breakfast. It gets your metabolism started, which will help you burn more calories even after you stop working out and while you're eating breakfast. But, if you're not a morning person, just work out on evenings. You'll still be getting calories burned. and it'll help you fall asleep. Be careful not to work out right before you go to bed because it might interfere with your sleep.

Definitely morning for me!
1- too sleepy to even question whether the workout is difficult
2- burn more fat if you have not eaten (otherwise you use the glycogen already available in your blood)
3- you're energized and you have the whole day in front of you
4- evening workouts make it hard to get to sleep at night

Its best if you work out in the mid afternoon or evening, that way you muscel have had time to stretch and warm up, that way injury is less likely to happen. You still have to do some stretching before and after a workout.

so they say that if you work out in the morning for at least 20 minutes, then your metabolism will kick in...then you will have it workin all day...but if you work out later in the night, you will burn off some of those extra calories from the meals. it just depends on what you want to do. try doing one at a time...then move to doing both...it is your preference really...good luck.

By exercising for at least 30 minutes in the morning when you first wake up and before you eat breakfast, you set your body up to burn more body fat. The reason you burn fat better is because your body has been without food for several hours and you do not have carbohydrates available when you first wake up. When you exercise your body need carbohydrates for energy but will instead substitute your body fat for energy instead, which improves your fat burning ability.

Morning, because when you raise your heart rate and increase blood circulation to the muscles it may make it more difficult to sleep and digestion is slowed when the body is in a higher gear.
