You could put pictures of youself pre-baby weight on the refridgerator and hang your cutest pre-baby weight outfit where you can see it. Also, if you just had a baby you should breast feed. It is clinically proven to help mothers lose the weight put on during pregnancy, especially abdominal weight which is hardest to get rid of. Not to mention that it burns TONS of calories and you don't have to do anything.

Take it one day at a time.

I see so many people quit their exercise and diet programs for the lamest of reasons. And you know when they do it? The day before something happens. (So it seems) You have to give yourself a fighting chance. First of all, your body is not convinced in the first month or so that you are even serious about your health. Based on your past you have a lot of proven to do. It’s not until the second and third months that your body decides to take you serious and release some of those fat storages.

So what do you do? You keep on keeping on until you start to miss the feeling that goes along after a good workout. Sure you have a desire to be healthy in the beginning but it has yet to form to be a part of your life. You have to miss it when you don’t exercise. Maybe not the pain, but the feeling! This is when your desires turn into habits! I call this, “The point of no return.”

Here are a few tips on how to get to the point of no return:

• Have NO expectations for at least three months from starting.

• Set initial goals to feel better and have higher energy, not weight loss.

• Don’t resent having to exercise.

• Put exercise sessions into your day planner.

• Give yourself no room for excuses.

• Get an accountability partner!

Just one more day, just let me have enough energy for today that’s all I ask. I will worry about tomorrow later.

first off breat feeding is actually the best form of losing baby weight so great if your doing that for your childs benefits, your financial benefit, and for yourself. you burn over 500 calories in breastfeeding alone, so that combined with just a 30 min walk really makes you lose weight and fast, most people thought i become anorexic! =) which after having a baby doesnt feel bad. lol. but if your not breastfeeding then boooo, but, you need to start slowly, and do something you really enjoy or you wont stick with it... make sure its soethingyou can do regularly with your child, like jogging, get a nice stroller, or just walks in general, its just consistancy and good eating that makes you lose the weight.. its the roller coaster diets that screw you in the end.. so just either find a video, like yoga booty ballet is fun... or outside activities and goodluck and congrats

Grab an old picture of yourself, and keep looking at it as you work out, that should motivate you. Or take a look at some dancing movies or music videos, and try to do what they do, because I learned at Bally Total Fitness that dancing is a great Cardio exercise and they gave lessons to some latin dances. The fact that you might enjoy the dancing would be a good motive, I think.

Depends on what you like of course. Sex burns tons of calories but use protection this time because you want a little break before your knocked up again. Running, swimming. Anything that gets you moving. Eat lots of Chicken, Fish, Rice. Stay away from red meat like Steak and Pork. Sway away from potatoes also. Anything with high fat content. Only eat portions as big as your palm. Protein shakes are good as well. They are a good substitute for meals. Its good to have high protein in your diet. Low fat though is most important.
