Octopus stew. When I was a kid. We were poor an mom was an ..er...'adventurous' cook. She got a good deal on a big octopus down at the wharf and made stew with it. I don't remember how it tasted, but I do remember that she came running into the room where my brothers and I were playing yelling "it's a booger, it's a booger..." with a HUGE tentacle dangling from her nose...then she expected us to eat this stuff...
Mom...I am a warped person due to her sense of humor...

Well, there are some really exotic dishes available in Southeast Asia, like monkey brains. I had several beers before I worked up the nerve to try that. It tasted pretty good - but I ain't gonna do THAT again!

balut and penoy....I ate the chick few times but it grossed me out. I like eating the yolk and sucking the juice of it.
Buffalo jerky-- gamey taste
ostrich burgers -- I loved this from Fuddrucker's and they actually serve these morsels.
Octopus, frog legs, squids, blowfish( this is a grand experience but very scary at first), escargot, sharks fin soup, alligator,
cow's tongue( they are tasty), fried grasshoppers, fish eyeballs in sweet chili sauce or malaysian curry sauce.
I would eat anything wierdest thing out there, and see if its palatable and have an experience of eating it.

A fried cow-brain sandwich. It was pretty disgusting.
I also had some Finnish blood sausage called mustamakkara. that was pretty gross, too.
Also escargot (tastes vaguely like shellfish), octopus (very rubbery), frog legs (tastes vaguely like chicken and fish), eel (a staple at many sushi places, it's cooked and actually not bad), and alligator (tastes sort of like the frog, but greasier).
I don't know how weird bison and ostrich meat is, but if they count they're both pretty good.

Mexican tripe soup, Menudo, it's delious, but I stopped eating it when I found little black hairs from the animal the tripes came from. Tacos de lengua, cow tongue tacos are delicious. I also ate a Mexican delicacy of blood from a pig I think. They fry it with spices and lots of jalepeño chiles and it comes out sort of looking like ground beef/sausage.

While visiting Japan I was served a whole fish, about 6 inches in length, on a stick! It had been salted and roasted and there it was, looking at me... For the sake of politeness I had a few nibbles. It didn't taste bad, it was just creepy. :)

I doubt if you will try this, and I hope no one ever does. Once in Mexico, my friends and I went to this street cafe. We ordered soup, and when it came, we greedily slurped it up. Half way finished, I felt something that wasn't right. When I spit it out, and checked it out, we all puked. It was a 3 inch human embryo. Believe it or not.
