You need to figure out your feelings before you worry about marriage. Don't worry about your ex thinking you will come back, if you have no intentions of going back. He will have to deal with it. If you really love this new guy and want to be with him, go for it. If he proposes and you're not ready, tell him that while you may want to marry him one day, you're not ready to make that decision yet. If he loves you, he will understand. Good luck

If you have the good sense to question a situation...Then the time is NOT right to make ANY decision. NEVER make a decision when your emotions are in control. Or you feel pressured to do so. Good decisions require good judgement. Take your time, do ONLY what you feel comfortable with. NOTHING should EVER be decided speedily! Rushing into anything usually leads to problems down the road, when ya come to your senses. There's no reason why you cant DATE both. In that way, you may actually discover your true preference.

well about the age part. that just depends cause if you are under 18 then i dont think you should but if you are over 18 then that is not young at all. young love is so cute. yes i know it does always last long but its still cute. if you feel like its right and your are making the right decision then do it. but make sure you think about this alone for a couple hours. think about the furture and other people.

Don't jump into something too soon, that's a big step. Talk to him about it, tell him how much you care for him, but also let him know that you think that the two of you should wait for such a big step. If he really cares alot and wants to be with you, he should be willing to wait until you are ready.

Wait until you're 40 years old, then ask this question again.
