I agree that you should wait before installing Vista. It sounds like it is going to be a hassle.

I would have thought it would run, but be quite slow. You could make the slow speed less apparent by increasing the RAM to 1024MB (1 GB). The more the better. 1GB of RAM is the minimum recommendation for the more advanced visual effects.

I strongly suggest you wait a bit before installing Vista. The security on it is so harsh that many apps won't work on it until they have been updated to account for Vista's User Account Controls.

I have run a beta version and I can tell you that the driver support is not that good yet.
Also, you will need at least 1 gig of ram before it will run at a decent speed. 2 gigs if you can.

its going to be slow. thats not enough memory. 1 GB at least. It also depends on the video card in the machine. If its a built in one it will work, but it wont give you all the graphics available.

For one!!!, it will eat up all of your ram!!! You had better get at least 2gig of ram...Better yet, go for four......
Why is everyone so impatient to get this new OS??? Wait abit for the initial flaws to be worked out then also, the price will come down a bit...Geeeezzzz..
