The food is not so great. Honestly you would be better off asking your primary care MD for a referral to a dietitian and get a plan from the expert. Safe amt of weight to lose would be no more than 1-2 lbs. per week. But I am sure you would like to lose much more quickly. When people do "fad" diets they often are not losing in a healthy way, they often lose fluids and lean body tissue which is actually BAD for someone who is trying to lose and keep it off. Hope this helps.

Well, I actually thought the food was pretty good. I tried it a while back and lost weight pretty quickly, though I'm sorry I don't remember how much weight. The only thing is it wasn't a permanent solution for me. It's VERY easy when you just grab the appropriate meal and go. But what about when you're done? It didn't really teach me how to eat well. So when I lost what I wanted and went back to "normal" eating, well normal eating for me was way too much food. Anyhoo, it's not a bad diet program in my opinion. You just may want to consult a nutritionist or dietician when you're done to keep you on pace with healthy eating. Good luck!

I tried it a few months back and didnt like it at all. I cancelled after 1 month. I switched over to WW and I'm doing what's called Core - they have option of Core foods or Flexpoints. So you can either eat enough to not be hungry of selected foods on Core, or eat whatever you want but in limited portions on Flex. You can swap between the 2 plans week to week. I will say that it's been working for me so far. Down 16 in 8 weeks! :-)

Too soon to tell . . . just started today. I think if you aren't horribly picky re: taste that it will work. Portions are the smallest I have ever seen any where, although I do feel full.

I agree with another poster re: this cannot be a permanent solution. Sometimes just learning to eat less helps, but you eventually have to learn to eat real foods in smaller portions in the real world.
