If Christians walk in the footsteps of Jesus, does that mean that their spirits, like Jesus', will descend to hell when they die? What would happen to those who are Christians would to be judged as hypocrits? Will their spirits arise with them. It is said the rationale for Jesus' spirit to descend was for him to convert those who came before him. Will "real" Christians be preaching in hell in the meantime, or what will they be doing there? I take that pypocites will be trembling with fear, waiting for their turn before God. So, they won't be preaching gospel, if other will be.

NB: B4 Christians report me for abuse. I don't mean that Jesus went to hell. The bible says his spirit descended to hell. That was b4 he is said to have "rose" from death. I'm no Christian. So, I can't vouch for whatever. Just asking about Christians and purported Christians' final destiny!

If a Christian has been living a good life of love for God and for other people then they should probably linger around their body a little then go to Heaven. If a Christian has not been living the right kind of life they may end up in hell first.

Ecc 12:6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

2Co 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
2Co 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
2Co 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Luk 20:37 Now that the dead are raised, even Moses shewed at the bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.
Luk 20:38 For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

I Pet.3:18-19 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 19 By which also He went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

I Pet.4:6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

The dead, spirits in prison, in bondage to sin, to them also was the gospel preached. The main harvest starts with Christ, the Word of God.

Christians will go to paradise after their physical death, as did the thief on the cross.
Luke 23:42 Then he said "Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom." and Jesus replied, "I assure you, TODAY you will be with me in paradise."

GOD ALONE wil judge us.

I KNOW I'm not perfect.

The way I understand it is that when us Christians die--IF Jesus is in our hearts--Our SPIRIT goes STRAIGHT to Heaven.

When Jesus comes again, our bodies will rise to meet Him in the air.

Most souls cross over. Religion has NOTHING to do with the eternal life of your soul.

We sleep until judgment, just like everyone else.
