Well, if any racial group want respect, it has to be earned by power. Look Russian earned in past. Now Chinese, Indians and Brazilians are queing up to be global power, expecting to get their part from global respect.

If a nation economically, and in defence, is so behind, people of that nation would not get respect. The human natur is, to salute to paower ( to the brigter).

I'm not at all racist and you can look at my answers record to prove this -

There is more than skin colour that seperates the races. Its not just stereotype that dictates that black people are usually better at sports, Jewish people are often very good with money, most white people can't dance and Polish people make good builders.

We are biologically and psychologically different as well, and so we should learn to not be so paranoid about appreciating that different races are better at different things. A lot of racial tension I believe is generated by people going to cultures that were not designed to fit their biology and psychcology. It's a subtle effect, but I think it makes a huge difference.

But it must still be remembered that every person has equal rights no matter who they were born to and where they were born.

The difference is that we are all colour coded by our skin. This in itself is unimportant but if there are other reasons for tension between racial groups then the colour coding becomes very powerful. When I was young there were signs everywhere in pubs and guest houses saying 'No Irish'. These have disappeared in a couple of generations. I do sometimes wonder if our common skin colour helped in this.

Is it not strangely hilarious that we accept the transfer of donor organs irrespective of colour yet the thought of us being similar in any way revolts a substantial number? I wonder what a person believing we are different and there is a hierarchy among humans would do if they were informed that an organ inside them was donated by their object of hate or the blood that saved their lives once ran in the veins of the very person they deem unworthy? Would they rip the organ out or bleed themselves dry? Just musing.

We all originated out of Africa. Basically darker skins are people who live in sunnier areas, whiter is due to cooler, cloudier areas, there is also an amount of closer matching genes among the whiter races initially as communities were smaller.
Take away the skin colour and we are basically all the same, greedy, obsessive, jealous, and grasping.

The difference between white, black and brown skins, scientifically speaking is tolerance to the sun.

As for "respect"....that is earned. Which is a logic sadly lost on a large proportion of the population.

No. not at all. The color is the 'skin' deep only. We find no color difference in human blood and the tears. Respect comes out of the humanitarian outlook of the heart one has, not from the color of the skin one owes.
