They do not contribute to the economy but rather steal from it. They ones who do pay taxes are doing it by forgery and identity theft. If you have ever had your identity stolen you know it can cost lots of money to correct the problem. The ones who have stolen identities are able to collect welfare and other government assistance costing the tax payer. The medical care given to illegals cost us in higher premiums and in tax dollars and also contribute to the closing and overcrowding of emergency rooms (ER is required to treat them even without proof of insurance). Their children attend our schools and in most cases qualify for reduced price or free lunches paid for by the tax dollars they avoid paying.
In my opinion a person who is here illegally doesn't have legal rights.

The fact that they are illegal says a lot. Lots of legal immigrants come to this country every year. The only reason to come here illegally would be that you are an undesirable. Criminals are not wanted here regardless what country they come from. That is why there are rules and procedures to follow to get into this country.
They have certain rights. You can't rob,or kill them, etc. but they are not protected by the constitution. As for their contribution, they cost the U.S. taxpayer a hell of lot more than they contribute.
This affects all us in resources that should be spent on our own people.
The long and short of it is they broke the law, it is crime.

How do you figure they contribute to the economy!! By going to the hospital and leaving the tax payer to pay the bill??? By the taxes they are paying? Most of them are not paying taxes. By the loads of money they are spending in our economy no they ship most of it back to Mexico. By working jobs no body esle would work. Guess what if they weren't here then the employers would have to pay at least the legal minium wage to employees. So they would be taking jobs away for legals and citizen.
What they contribute to society goes is little compared to what they are taking.
Plus we haven't even hit health issues. Most legal when they come they have to go through a process which includes a physical. Illegals are coming in without the physical. This is a health hazard to everyone. Do you know TB is on the rise.
It's a crime. It's a Problem for all Americans!!

No more respect than I would give any law breaker from any where. They deserve to be treated humanly as human beings but no I don't have any respect for them.
Mexico is NOT a poor country. By sending its teeming masses to our country, that status keeps on rising. Mexico has more resources per square mile than the U.S. and plenty of money to take care of its own people. Why should the taxpayers of this country subsidize Mexico's corruption?
Illegal aliens are not necessarily coming here to work. It was recently reported that 33 percent of our prison population is now comprised of non-citizens. Plus, 36 to 42 percent of illegal aliens are on welfare. So, for a good proportion of these people, the American dream is crime and welfare, not coming here to work.
Illegal aliens are not doing work Americans won't do. What jobs won't Americans do? In most states, Americans still clean their own houses, do their own landscaping, clean hotel rooms, work in restaurants and fast food places, paint houses, comstruction, meat packing ,slaughter houses work in airports, etc. - just like we have the past 200 years before "our" government allowed these people to invade our country. There are 18 million Americans who cannot find a job, so illegal aliens who are coming here to work do so at peril to American workers.
. Illegal aliens absolutely do not contribute more than they cost. Certainly the millions in prison and on welfare aren't contributing a dime to our economy, and the ones who are working often are paid in cash with no deductions for taxes at all. The ones who use fraudulent social security numbers and qualify to pay taxes and social security have so many deductions for dependents that they pay little if any taxes.

It is a crime. Some people feel sorry for them and their living conditions, but they are still breaking our country's laws. Just because I have a bunch of medical bills, doesn't mean I can go rob a bank and they will listen to my story and feel sorry for me and let me go........ILLEGALS need to be shipped back and if they want in, then go through the legal process.

1st of all, there is no such thing as an "illegal immigrant." Immigrants are here LEGALLY. They are ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINALS - criminals because they are breaking the law. As you can tell, I'm against them because they drain our system, taxpayers have to pay for them, they clog our schools and freeways, they take jobs away from citizens, etc....
If they were gone it would be great. We don't need them! Remember in May 2006 with the "day without an immigrant?" We got along great! We could even go 75mph during rush hour in LA!!!!
I have no sympathy for their "they are here for a better life" crap. Get a better life in Mexico by fixing their country instead of screwing up ours.

They should get 30 days to leave on thier own or risk arrest & loss of all possessions & be transported to the border. Of course we need secure borders for that to work.
