Probaly the easier way for you to eat good is when you get home at night make something you liek and store them in microwaveable cintainers and then when you go to school the next day just pop it in the microwave and eat good and have lots of time to read mail. And also take you some dessert like make a cake or pie and then cut it and put in conatiners and take with you. There are lots of ways and different kinds of food and desserts and sides you can make at home and take to work. Its easier and cheaper. Especially if you can cook it on the weekend and save it for the week.

I have the same thing at work so i make things like Bolognaise, lasagne and rice dishes.... I make big portions then freeze it in seperate containers and just microwave them... Pasta shells only takes ten minutes in the microwave (add boiling water) and goes with the pasta. I also makes pasta dishes and put those in seperate containers which you can have hot or cold. Soup is another option with crusty bread (home made soup is easy and better for you)... If you want any other suggestions then email me as ive been eating at work like this for the last 17 years.

I make sandwiches everyday for my lunch - you can't beat it as you can have something different everyday! I make them the night before and keep them in the fridge at work until lunch time.
My favourites are granary bread with homemade tuna mayo with black pepper and lettuce, sliced chicken (brilliant if you've had a roast chicken over the weekend as it tastes lovely cold and none goes to waste!) with rocket and cucumber and ham, salad, cheese and mayo or pickle.
Vary it sometimes and make a nice pasta salad - you can make versions to either heat up in the microwave if it's cold out or have chilled.

Have all different things.......make things ahead that you can freeze and reheat .......while they are reheating you could be reading your mail or at least part of it.......do things that you love like lasagna, chicken and rice, chili and then take some tortilla chips and bagged shredded cheese and make nachos, goulash, things like this and then just pull out a container from the freezer of whatever you are in the mood for. Any casserole just about that you make you can freeze so pick your favorites and make a couple at a time and then use that to divide up and stick in containers in the freezer. Label each one with the date and then you have a buffet of things and ideas to take for your lunch!

I only have 30 minutes for lunch, so I make something the night before, like bruschetta mix that you can eat with pita bread or tortilla shell, or bring some chili or leftover lasagna etc.
No need to make something right there, just make it beforehand and keep it in the fridge

It starts with dinner. Always cook enough extra for your lunch either the next day, or the day after (it doesn't always feel like leftovers if you work a day or so ahead).
Bring your own drink...bring a salad from home...heck, even your own desert.
Get with another teacher or two and order delivery for something different some times.

why not make your lunch the night before? Put it in the fridge when you get to work. I make really nice salads and pita breads filled with tasty stuff.. then when it gets to lunch time you know you've got a tasty wholesome lunch to munch on, no faffing about preping. Or even take left overs from dinner and heat it up at work..

Jacket potato - cook it at home in the oven, let it go cold, then just re-heat in the microwave at work - bring a can of beans and a little bit of grated cheese (in a sandwich bag, or a bit of foil) and you have a quick, hot lunch.

Take left-overs from dinner the night before.
Make sandwiches.
Try different Hot Pocket style hot sandwiches.
Take microwave dinners (some of them are really good, just try a few different ones to see which ones you like).
Take yogurt, applesauce, baby carrots, celery, chips, etc. as a side item.
