Any real life stories? I would like to hear.
I was with my high school sweetie for 6 years. It's been over six years since we've been apart, and she's dating someone right now.
I swear I still think about her everyday though. A part of me wonders WHAT IF......

I think you need to let her know how you feel...she may be feeling the same way and doesn't know how you feel. Let her know before she gets serious with this guy. I know it's possible...it's happened to a lot of people!! Good luck!

Well, me and my childhood/kind of high school sweetheart are back together after not being in contact after about 5 years. So it is possible. We plan to marry also!! Good luck with your sweetie! I was in a relationship for 3 and 1/2 years prior to hooking back up with him, and he used to try to get back with me. I thought we never would but here we are, so impossible things are happening everyday!

A guy I work with is actually marrying his high school sweetheart later this year. They dated all through high school and part of college, then broke up. They each got married and had kids, got divorced and met up again a few years ago after more than 20 years. A friend of theirs had their prom picture blown up for the engagement party - it was so cute! Keep hope alive - it could happen to you too!

It is possible to get back together but that doesn't mean it will be the same as it was before when you were in high school. I think a lot of people think about what if........

One of my best friends from high school got back with her highschool sweethart after 10 year of not seeing each other. They got married and it lasted for about 2-3 years and then got divorced.

Im in the same boat so I pray everyday that he'll come back.

yes, i think so... it didn't happen to me personally, but my friend it did. They were apart from each other 7 years, he lives here in minnestoa and she lived in new york. They got back together, and she moved back to here, and they've been together for 2.5 years now. we're making bets on when he'll pop the question. They are so cute together.

dude i totally support you but you may have to find out a few thing about her and her marital status and such before you make a fool of yourself cause it happened to me once and it wasnt a nice feeling being embarassed.
