You get to eat don't you. Can't you do just about anything you want. The decisions are yours to make concerning whether you do evil or whether you do good. And don't you know there is a devil and many demons at work right now in this world. Why let him blind you to the truth about God.God is good and in Him there is no evil. Evil will melt away in His presence. Evil is of the devil. The devil is a liar from the beginning. He lied to the first woman EVE and he is still a lie today and he is busy at it.
God has offered a way of escape from this evil world thru Faith in Jesus Christ. There is no other way. He is the way look no further. Don't look to the left or the right just straight ahead to Jesus. He will lead you out and He will give you rest.

People often ask, "look at all these evil acts being commited in the world. How can there be a God?" Well i say to them, if God didnt give us free will, would he really be all that loving? Think about it. If we could only choose the right path, we would be like robots without thought. I see God as a loving parent that pains to see us make bad decisions, but lets us anyway, because he knows that we need to make mistakes to grow. Also there is a Hell, so people who dont repent for what they have done, such as rape and murder and other such things, they will be going there. Those are my thoughts.

Only free will allows a person the room to choose wrong or evil.

If one could not choose, they would not be free!

You are also free to choose your idea of God!

C.S.Lewis recounts in his book: Mere Christianity;
"My argument against God (before he was a Christian) was that the universe seemed so cruel and unjust. But how had I got this idea of just and unjust? A man does not call a line crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line."

"What was I comparing this universe with, when I called it unjust?" his argument continued.

(What a good book . . . that is only page 45 of almost 200.)

We have free will. We can choose to do whatever we want to do. However, if we make the wrong choice, there will be consequences to pay. For instance, if you walked to the edge of a cliff, you can exercise your free will and jump off of it to your death. Or you can excercise your free will and back away from the cliff to a safe distance. The choice is yours.

Adam had free will not to eat from the forbidden fruit. Unfortunately, he made the wrong choice. As a result, there is much wickedness in the world. But don't blame God for that.

Then we wouldn't have any. The same reason you wouldnt't have free will in heaven. Heaven is supposed to be free of evil, right? The same reason Adam and Eve did not have free will before eating the fruit.

But you are missing the point. There is no free will at all in any case. The biblical god does not exist.

Your question is absolutely good,
the first question anyway!
Free will is destroyed if we are "forced" to do everything Correct and right.
But the Loving God does not Tempt with Sins, therefore all evil comes from the ONE who invented it. Tell Lucifer to go to Hell, for he and Satan are the guilty ones that deprive man from the LOVE of God.

.2 Corinthians 4:4....If, now, the good news we declare is in fact veiled, it is veiled among those who are perishing,  among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say that God or Jesus are ruling the earth, but it does say that Satan the devil is.

It's called the devil. There is a battle going on between the forces of good and evil. It is your choice which side you will take.

We have to be able to choose to accept God for there to be a genuine relationship with Him. If we had no choice to accept His call to serve Him then we would be little more than machines or pets.
