So this means my Mom can kill me.
What if I loved another mother.........death for me.
Or what if I killed someone, you know what my Mom would still let me in her house, and would forgive me.
My Mom is better than your God, and don't you dare say otherwise.

Why can't people believe in science AND God? Illness, disease, and injury exist, but that doesn't automatically mean there is no God.
Humans have disorders. Infants are born with birth defects and they die. All of these things are part of the natural evolution/survival of the fittest theory. None of this refutes the idea that God exists.
Earth is NOT a perfect environment. It was never intended to be.
It is based on science. Most Christians also believe in science. Most also believe God created science ("allowed it" to become known).
Also, if you create something, you have every right to destroy it. In fact, it was not uncommon practice in some cultures for females to kill their child if they did not want/like the infant.
I think a better explanation is that God may have played a role in initial creation, but that science and nature imperfectly evolved on its own.

Hi, that is a good question and it sounds to be as if you are searching for somewhat of a spiritual answer.....I am Christian...wasn't always a Christian so maybe I can give you a reasonable answer.......We believe the God created the world and by doing so well yes He is the boss... You need to think of it in terms of a large corporation.....The thing is He has His reasons for everything that He does..God doesn't simply kill babies, my sister died at birth my mother doesn't blame God...she realized the timing wasn't right....my father was drinking at the time...they had little money and it wasn't the best time....Another thing is that God gave us free will...So in the end it is our choice...it is up to us to make the right one...Christians have high morals and standards to live by...and trust me we don't always do so....Everybody is held accountable for their actions...Christions believe that in the end we are held accountable by God...It's all about honour and respect....The concept of does anyone get to do the same if they created something...I don't believe so....I am a mother....some would say I created my son....it doesn't mean I controll every accpect of his life...it does however mean that I guide him and teach him to make the right choices and to me a good man....in the end I believe God created him....I believe that God wants the same for me as I want for my son...and when raising a child timing is important...I believe God looks at the same way with us....Anyway I hope you find the answer you are looking for....Christians believe God wants the best for us...the question is do we want the best for us and what is that....Be blessed....Tara

I believe that that is God's will sometimes. I think that babies who die of natural cause were only meant to be on the earth for a short time. I think that people who kill their babies is not of God's will, but of their own psychological problem.
To your second question, I believe that this concept does apply to anyone who creates something. For example, a scientist creates a cell, cares for and studies it progress, but one day they find the cell is abnormal or is useless to their examination. The scientist destroy it without question. I hope that this answered your question

Sounds like you will invent or welcome any concept that allows you to reject God. However; the Devil exists also and have you ever thought that perhaps he has something to do with "killing babies?"
You will never believe in a God you know nothing about. You're not interested in actually reading the Bible and studying his word. You like to think you're intellectually superior to God by finding fault with him. Just because you don't agree with or understand the Lord doesn't mean he's not real. I doubt that you understand how nuclear energy works, or the inside of your computer, but you accept it as reality.

I believe he created everything, but I doubt he would kill a baby. Would a loving god do that? No.

I dont care for your use of the word "kill" as a Christian I do not believe the Lord "kills" people or other living things. He brings them home to heaven. To answer your question, yes, he created our lives and can take them from us at any time. If you create something that isnt living, you can destroy it at any time as well.

He is limited by His character, which is Love, justice, never changing. Because He is both love and justice, He has to judge our sins. Because He is love, He poured His justice onto His Son on the cross. Therefore, we can be saved through faith in Him.
He created the world but left us to run it, by and large. He does intervene sometimes, like in the flood to prevent the destruction of humanity.
We kill babies. The fallen condition of the universe causes babies to die.

This world is not as God wants it to be in the long term.
This is God's will for us.
Isaiah 65:20 "Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years...
